Join us tomorrow as we start our new series, ‘Altar Ego’ You may look at it and say, “Is alter misspelled?” Actually, this is on purpose, A-L-T-A-R. In the Old Testament an altar is a place where believers will sacrifice something meaningful before God. An ego is who we think we are, who we believe we are. Over the coming weeks we will encourage each other to lay down our ego, what we think of ourselves, at the altar of God so that we will not be who we think we are or who others think we are, but we will be who God says we are. Worship, preaching, prayer, children’s activities, refreshments. 10:45am @Hall Street.
